Meera Syal received a BAFTA Fellowship

UK’s best-known Asian personalities, Meera Syal received a BAFTA Fellowship in honor of her ‘outstanding achievement’ in the TV industry. She was appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in the 1997 New Year Honours.
